Behind every piece I create is a story.
Sometimes it’s a story about wonder. Sometimes it’s about loss, survival, motherhood, or learning how to keep going when life feels heavy.
This blog is a place for the thoughts I can’t always fit into an artwork—the reflections, creative struggles, quiet victories, and vulnerable moments that shape both my art and the person creating it.Thank you for being here and for taking the time to look a little deeper.
The finished artwork is only one part of the story. Beneath the layers of paper, paint, and color are the experiences that inspired it—the moments that lingered, the emotions that needed somewhere to go, and the questions that never found easy answers. Here, I’ll share the creative process, the meaning behind specific pieces, and the realities of building a creative life alongside everything else that comes with being human.
My hope is that these words and images remind us that we are often more connected than we realize. The things we carry, the things we grieve, and the things we hope for have a way of finding each other.
